Executive Biography

Mark Bramwell is the CIO of Saïd Business School - University of Oxford, a globally renowned world Top 10 ranked business school. Its strategic mission is to be a world class business school community, embedded in a world class university, tackling world scale problems.

 

Before joining Saïd Business School Mark spent 9 years as Head of IT for the Wellcome Trust, prior to which he worked as Head of IT Development for WHSmith Limited. 

 

Mark is also a Non-Executive Board Member of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where he also deputy chair of their Digital Committee.

 

Prior to this, Mark served on the Boards of Circle Care and Support and CPM Stipenda as well as having been Chair of the Corporate IT Forum for 3 years.

 

Known for his skills in customer service, business transformation, IT strategy and building high performing teams, he was named in the 2015 UKTech50 most influential IT Leaders in the UK IT industry and the 2015 and 2016 CIO100.

 

A Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) and Royal Society for the Arts (FRSA), Mark is a Business and Finance graduate of Sheffield University.

 

Mark is married with 2 children and lives in Wiltshire.
