University of Oxford - CTL

MICRO CASE STUDY

The University of Oxford Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a supportive program that supplies resources to all people who teach at the University of Oxford. The CTL was tasked with providing inter-departmental support on a ‘Flexible and Inclusive Teaching (FiT)’ online Canvas framework for courses and programs. With Construct's support, the CTL was able to deliver on this on-time with extremely positive feedback across campus despite challenges and setbacks during COVID-19.

Foothill College

CASE STUDY

Foothill College educates students from diverse backgrounds that represent

the demographics of the Bay Area, with particular attention to underserved and underrepresented populations. Founded in 1957, Foothill has offered classes since 1958 and opened Foothill College in 1961. It was one of the first colleges to offer online courses, 100+ degrees and certificates, and was recently named the #1 Online Community College in California and #3 in the nation.

Oxnard Union High School District

CASE STUDY

Oxnard Union High School District is a large district located in Southern California. OUHSD serves 11 different high schools and reaches a student population of approximately 17,000 learners. For OUHSD, Construct was able to create the first step in helping their teachers transition smoothly into a distance learning environment. Since partnering to work on this project, OUHSD has experienced a 300% increase in its program’s amount of Canvas users.

Center for Youth Wellness

CASE STUDY

Center for Youth Wellness (CYW) is a mission-driven organization that exists to “improve the health of children and adolescents exposed to Adverse Childhood Experiences [ACEs]” by providing ACEs screening advocacy, consulting, and training within the medical community. Construct helped CYW to create and develop two courses in Bridge within 5 months. Each course included a variety of visuals including course graphics and videos to elevate the entire program.

Food Armor

CASE STUDY

The Food Armor Foundation provides antimicrobial stewardship education and solutions through establishing vet-farm-supply chain partnerships and research-informed frameworks for practice. Their program consists of six sections which ultimately teach the ensure the transparent and proper use of drugs on farms. Partnering with Construct allowed Food Armor to rejuvenate their training courses and improve learner information retention through the use of learning design.
